Home stay: Kadamane

First about the Eco-venture. What we've started,basically, is a Homestay concept. You get to stay in a 70 year old,typical plantation Bungalow nestled in a 7000 acre estate,surrounded by Tea fields,jungle and open grassland. You can either choose to just laze around or indulge in any of the outdoor activities like trekking,walking,jogging,mountain biking and tennis. Indoor activities include badminton,table tennis,chess,darts billiards and snooker.

Additionally,for children,there's roller skating,skateboarding and cycling. You also get to visit the eco-friendly tea plantation and factory and to make your own tea!! If you are lucky,you'll get to see wildlife like bison,elephant,sambhar and deer,in addition to a whole host of birds. The food served will be - typically homely and will be the menu of the day - coorg,malabar,kerala,north indian and continental.

Kadamane is located just 12 km off the Bangalore-Mangalore highway and is just a 5 hour drive from Bangalore. The weather throughout the year is excellent,except during July and August when the rains are copious ( but if you like the rain, make sure you bring along, plenty of books to read!!). Packages include accomodation on a twin sharing basis,with all meals included. Please do feel free to contact us for further information.
